Terms and Conditions
My first visit to your home is a 1 hour minimum, to be paid on completion of my visit. Any time over 1 hour will be billed at quarter hour increments. For additional reports, information, resources or plant lists that I prepare for you, this time will be invoiced via email . I will request a deposit before I begin the work, then email you an invoice for the balance due.

It may take only this one visit for me to provide the support you need. However, we can discuss if more sessions and follow up are needed to accomplish your goals. If you hire me for a large project that exceeds 5 billable hours, this first hour payment will be applied to the overall project cost. ​

I will be clear about any costs and I aim to be flexible to provide the services that you need. Please ask if you are not sure of what is included in my fees.

Payments can be paid via Venmo, Zelle or check.
​
My services cover communities along the San Gabriel foothills, within 20 miles of La Canada, distances beyond that will include $5 additional mileage fee for each visit to your home.

In severe weather conditions I will reschedule our appointment. If you need to cancel an appointment I ask that you let me know as soon as possible. I understand that unexpected life interruptions happen and I will reschedule. I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment.

My services are based on advice, guidance and training. I am glad to work side-by-side with you, it's a joy to work with a friend in the garden! However, I can't take responsibility for any work that you carry out when I am not with you. Nor can I take responsibility for the forces of weather, and mysteries of nature, even the most experienced gardeners kill plants. That is how we learn!
